MagEnergy's mission is to research, build, test and trial new paradigm renewable energy electricity generation technologies.
This necessarily means exploring the most promising 'fringe' techological discoveries and verifying the truth or otherwise of the claims being made by their inventors and promoters. Building "Proof of Concept" demonstration units and functional testing is a fundamental component of our "evidence based" research.
MagEnergy limits its investigations to only a few concepts at any one time. One current area of focus has spun out of the discovery first published in "Nature" magazine over a decade ago and has become a core area of research and development.

By studying Earth's interior they found the planets solid iron inner core is spinning faster than the planet itself.
Sound wave data collected from earthquakes and other explosions since the mid 1960s showed the the inner core, completes an additional revolution to the Earth every 400 years. This equates to about 20 kms on the surface at the equator every year. Very fast in geological time given that tectonic plate movement is measured in cm's. The solid iron core, first discovered by seismological research in 1936, rotates because it is surrounded by a much larger liquid-iron outer core and is having a twisting effect within it. Together the two form a giant electric motor." - We have all seen images of the Aurora Borealis which makes visible this electromagnetic field.
Here in lies the core of the concept: Magenergy intends to build a "Proof of Concept" solid state 'receiver/converter' that tunes into this energy/electric field and converts it into a usable electric power stepped up to a 10Kv-20Kv range. Imagine if you will, a 50cm3 solid state unit producing sufficient electric power to safely satisfy the general needs of a normal household. This could replace the current portable petrol engine driven generator with a clean and silent equivalent. The ramifications of achieving such an outcome are very significant.
